Big room with good facilities including a microwave. The location was excellent - you can go east to west on the JR line and north to south on the metro - and anywhere on the bus all within 2 mins walk from the hotel. Shout out to housekeeping who do a fab job, discreet and professional. There’s a Co-op supermarket nearby with an excellent fresh food selection.

Check-in was very easy, staff super friendly. Only time I saw any staff waa when I checked in but if you needed them all you had to do is ring the bell at the front desk. Really liked how it was keyless entry into the lift area & into your room. Room was a really good size & really liked how it had a normal size fridge & freezer. Also liked that the room had a microwave. The hotel is close to supermarkets & also close to the train station. It was really nice that check out was not until 11am, didn’t feel rushed. Hotel was very quiet which is a good thing. If you are wanting to stay somewhere outside of the main city, I highly recommend this hotel.

good location 2 min walking from Train station. The people in reception were really kind and helpful! they make the difference! it was very clean and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. I liked having a balcony. I felt very comfy here!

Location: The location is just superb! Stone throw away from Nijo station which links to/from kyoto subway and JR line. 5minutes away to/from kyoto station which makes it so easy to move around Staff: Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The Filipino front desk officer even provided us addtl place to visit and tips as to where to buy cheap groceries, chocolates and food. Room: Spacious and clean with fresh towels and complete toiletries They have in house laundry located on the ground Check in and check out are so easy and no hassle at all. Food: family mart and 7 eleven are nearby. Do not miss out the Ramen restaurant just outside the station named Chanpontei because they serve delish Ramen :-) We love our stay here and will definitely book again on our next visit to kyoto Thank you, Tabist Kyoto Kyogura!

The check in staff (Paul) was exceptional and spoke English fluently. He went above and beyond and helped us with our check out request. The process for both check in and out was simple and hassle free. The had a nice book of sites to see, restaurants, and attractions and how to get there. The room (202) was cozy with 2 twin beds. It had a mid size fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle and toiletries. The location could not be beat as it was across from BiVi mall (with several restaurants, a Lawsons, arcade/games place, and movie theatre), the Nijo metro station and the JR train line. It is also near many sightseeing locations (Nijo Castle, soufflé pancakes, and the Kyto International Manga Museum. They had paid laundry (300 yen to wash and 100 to dry) including soap. We even left our bags at the front lobby storage as we did some final touring without any issue.

Very quiet neighborhood, but only a stone’s throw from Nijo station. Has all amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste). Hot water kettle. Private room with blackout curtains so it gets dark enough at night. Key code entrance. Great bath and shower. Easy check in and out.

The code entry was really useful so that we could check-in at any time. Being so close to Nijo Station made getting around Kyoto quickly much easier.

Nice, cozy, clean and simple room, more spacious than I thought, perfect location (JR and subway stations nearby, Nijo castle, convenience stores, market street with shops and cafes), perfect price, has all the amenities needed,

This hotel is in a great position - 3 mins from Nijo Train Station and close to a range of restaurants. It is very well run - the staff I encountered when checking in and usung the laundromat were friendly and very helpful. Best of all you can open the window so not always enclosed in artificial air. Highly recommended from a solo traveller.

The accomodation is really closeto the station and to the places I wanted the visit. The staff was really nice and accomodating and gave me all the information I need about the hotel. The hotel is more of like a rented apartment space and the information is as stated so don't expect the usual hotel quality service. The accomation system worked well for me andI enjoyed my 2 night stay. Would definitey stay here again
